YAVAPI FIREARMS ACADEMY ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR

2-Day introductory course (4 hour evening lecture w/8 hours on the range the following day).  This course covers personal safety and environmental awareness specifically for women.

You will be taught the “Modern Technique of Pistol Craft”, firearms safety, fundamentals of marksmanship, mental mindset, and proper gunhandling skills.  You will also learn how to fit and choose the correct handgun, ammo, holster, and equipment.

CLASS REQUIREMENTS

1) Revolver or semi-automatic pistol - .38; .357; 9mm; .40; .45 caliber

2) Safety glasses and hearing protection are required and can be provided by Alaska Tactical

3) Hip holster, ammo carrier, spare magazine/speed loader

4) 250 rounds of ammunition

5) Proper clothing – rain gear, ball cap, closed toe footwear, etc.,

Lunch will be provided at the range.
