Revolver

This
“Modern Technique of the Revolver” class includes how to choose the right
handgun, ammunition, holster and equipment. Proper procedures, safety, and
maintenance will be discussed in the classroom. Training will cover how to
safely load, reload, present and holster your handgun. Through demonstration,
instruction and range training you will learn proper grip, stance; use of sight
alignment; sight picture; breathing and trigger control; how to manipulate your
revolver and clear malfunctions. You will be introduced to basic tactical
application of the revolver. This course will build confidence in your
abilities, safety and operational skills in the use of the double action
revolver. This is a 20-hour course consisting of a Friday night 4-hour lecture
and 2-full days of training on the range.

REQUIREMENTS
1. Six shot 38/357-caliber double action revolver, medium
frame preferred (Colt, S&W, Ruger). Rental revolvers and equipment are available

assuring a full firing grip with fully enclosed trigger guard. The retention system can be either thumb
break or friction.
3. Safety glasses and ear protection are mandatory and
can be provided by AK Tactical.

speed strips, 6 round belt slide or 2X2X2 dump pouch and a sturdy gun belt.
